G'day, my name's Liam Newman and I've been drumming for 10 years. I first started drum lessons when I was 10 years old. I kept at it all through high school not because I particularly liked it but it got me out of class. It wasn't until I was 15 and discovered metal that I fell in love with drumming.

 

I was also fortunate enough to receive mentoring from Nic Pettersen from the age of 16. Nic has such a creative mind for drumming and I hope to embody that in the parts I write.

 

As of late I've recently joined a band called Diamond Construct. We've got a lot of shows on the horizon and some new sounds. So keep an ear out and try to catch a show. x
